How we moderate reviews (and how to report one)

The journey of a review

  1. Submission: the author writes their review and rates the company from 1 to 5 stars.
  2. OTP verification: they confirm their email with a one-time code.
  3. Moderation queue: a person on our team reviews it.
  4. Publication or rejection: if it follows the rules, it is published with the "Verified" badge. If not, it is rejected and the reason is recorded.

What we reject

  • Reviews without an identifiable real experience (rumours, "I've heard that…").
  • Insults, threats or third parties' personal data.
  • Advertising content or affiliate links.
  • Reviews written by the company itself or its direct competitors.
  • Duplicated or mass-generated text.

We do not reject reviews for being negative. A tough but honest, well-argued criticism is exactly the kind of content we want to host.

How to report a review

On every company page, each review has a "Report this review" link. When you use it we will ask for:

  • Your email (never published; it lets us reply to you).
  • The reason for the report.
  • Optional details that help evaluate the case.

Every report is reviewed by a person. If the review breaks the rules, it is removed; if not, it stays. In both cases the decision is documented internally.

What if I am the affected company?

If you represent a company and believe a review is fraudulent or defamatory, use the same report button or contact us with the documentation that supports your case.
